Hi there

I am a bit of a fossil and have been riding bikes from literally just after birth when I was still in nappies 

Have done extensive travels mostly on a much lighter KTM. Just recently bough the 1200 adventure GIANT and still finding my feet on it.

Did the bike thing for a few years when I was younger, took a break, and came back to riding again. Having fun!

I moved from Germany to Cape Town last october. So I am new here and look forward meeting new GS-friends (and all the others as well :-)) I sold my GS1200 in Germany before I left. Now I am going to buy a new 1200 GS A. Where can I do this? I am 47 years old and love to ride my bike. I am very excited to do it know here in South Africa.

Last bike I had was 450 KDX Kawasaki, 25 years ago. Want to do some gravel roads, mountain passes as well open tar road riding decided 1200 gs adv the best for this purpose. With the bike I got a system 6 helmet, but must still purchase cloting (jacket, gloves, pants, boots). Trying to do some market research on best value for money .
